Michigan made me, but the mountains shaped me. Colorado stole me, Oregon added it’s texture, and Utah currently claims me. I ski, hike, camp, float rivers, build whatever I can dream up, and have a soft spot for good cars. Life stays balanced thanks to my wife, two dogs, a 21-year-old cat who refuses to retire, and a healthy appreciation for strong coffee and good whiskey. If it involves fresh air, movement, or making stuff, I’m in.
My design origin story is part rebellion, part revelation: tossed from 4th-grade art class for unruly splatter art work, then fully hooked when Visual Communication courses in ’99 opened the door to a craft I’ve never stopped chasing. Curiosity leads; design follows.
